Five questions, every morning
The check-in takes about 20 seconds in the app, before the first session of the day:
- Sleep
- Mood
- Pain
- Motivation
- Physical state
Readiness at a glance
Coaches see a readiness score for each player in red, amber or green, and a 7-day trend. One bad morning is normal; three in a row is a pattern worth a conversation.
Pain reports that do not get lost
Pain and discomfort reported in the check-in stay on the player's record. Ace It combines them with training load and injury history, so a load spike together with new pain is flagged as a higher risk.
The injuries report shows active and past injuries, the days out and the body areas, for the whole academy.
Keeping juniors honest – and engaged
A check-in only works if players answer honestly every day. A few habits that help:
- Keep it short – it is five questions, not a questionnaire
- Respond to what players report, so they see it matters
- Talk about low scores privately, never in front of the group
- Never punish an honest answer with extra work
- Check-in streaks in the app reward the daily habit
What the academy manager sees
The mental and wellbeing report shows sleep, mood, motivation and pain trends for the week or month, together with check-in compliance – who answers every day and who has stopped.
