Live match scoring

Live tennis scoring that turns every match into statistics

A coach watching from the side of the court remembers a few key points. A point-by-point log remembers all of them โ€“ and turns them into numbers the player can train on.

Score point by point from the phone

Matches are scored in the Ace It app, point by point, as they are played. There is nothing to type up after the match: the score, the log and the statistics are ready when the last point is played.

Statistics without a notebook

Every point is recorded with how it ended, so the match statistics build themselves:

  • Aces and double faults
  • Winners and errors
  • A point-by-point log of the whole match
  • Match statistics per player, match after match

Tournaments by surface and level

Matches are organised into tournaments with their surface and level. Over a season the coach can look back at a player's matches by surface and by level, instead of relying on memory.

A live score link for parents

Not every parent can travel to every tournament. Each match has a shareable live-score page, so family and staff can follow the score from a link โ€“ no app needed.

From the match back to practice

Statistics are only useful if they change what happens on court. When a pattern shows up โ€“ too many double faults under pressure, for example โ€“ the coach turns it into a goal for the player, with notes and video.

Match hours also count in the player's training volume, so a heavy tournament week is visible next to the rest of the week's training.

For players outside an academy

Ace It Lite lets individual players log their own matches and statistics, without an academy behind them.

Questions

Is match scoring available for other sports?

Not yet โ€“ match scoring is tennis-specific today. The rest of Ace It works the same way for other individual sports.

Do parents need to install the app to follow a match?

No. The live score is a link that opens in any browser.

Do matches count in the training volume?

Yes. Match hours are part of the player's training volume, next to tennis and physical sessions.
